Observer, as well as engineering quality factors, and their relationships to each other. Observer’s end function, which includes but is not limited to reaction times, power consumption, and amount of integrated systems, is thoroughly explained throughout the report. In addition, the document contains detailed explanation of relationships between engineering specifications for quality, where the correlation of each specification is elaborated. Moreover, the user interfaces as well as hardware interfaces are explained for a more specific overview of customer expectations.
Observer is an autonomous hexacopter integrated with a tracking system, where object to be tracked is user-defined. Observer has three main hardware components, and a software component. The first main hardware part is the hexacopter itself, where the dimensions will be similar to that of any hexacopter currently available on the market. The hexacopter will house all of the smaller components required for image acquisition and transmission for image processing. Thus it will house a mounted camera system at the bottom. From the data obtained, the hexacopter will mimic the motions of the chosen target.
